Clinton United Methodist Church

Dear Clinton United Methodist Church Family & Friends from afar!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! I’m glad you found your way back to this page again. Just a quick reminder. If possible to do so in a safe way, obtain elements for home communion for worship this Sunday. In the U.S. the Methodist tradition is grape juice and bread. For those who have longed to break with that tradition and have communion more in the way that Jesus shared with his disciples, go for it! The pastor will never know. LOL! You know what I’m talking about. Yes, yes, bigger portions and sit around a triclinium. Thanks for the feedback. Please let me know if you attend. See you Sunday or at least you will see me!              Pastor Darrell – 4/1/2020

For the foreseeable future, worship service will be “live stream” only. Click on the You Tube link below to join the service at 9 a.m. on each Sunday.

Some of you might find it beneficial to print the worship bulletin out prior to the service.

“For you know the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich.” (2 Corinthians 8:9)

Each Sunday, we’ll incorporate a time to share in giving of our tithes and our offerings.

Take a moment and sign up for electronic giving by pushing the red “Electronic Contribution” button. Once you have signed up, select the “general church offering” for your Sunday morning regular offering. There are other special giving boxes for you to give to in addition to the general fund if you so choose.

Or give your offering by sending check to 308 E Main St, Clinton, IL 61727

Let us know that you worshiped with us today. Include anyone in your house hold that worshiped with you. Also indicate if you would like a call from the Pastor. He would love to hear from you!

Kathy Wigginton has moved on to her heavenly home. Kathy loved the UMC church family. She spoke of you with a passion every time I visited with her. To leave your memory of her or your condolences, click on her name below.
